Cancellation policy

When you schedule an appointment we reserve a treatment room for an hour for you exclusively. Although we acknowledge that unforeseen circumstances can arise in life, we do require a 24 hour notice before cancelling or changing an appointment

The entire cost of the treatment will be billed if you cancel your appointment with less than 24 hours’ notice and in the event that we are unable to find a replacement.

We appreciate your understanding

HICAPS

If you have private health insurance with extras cover, you will generally be eligible for a rebate on acupuncture services (and in some cases for prescribed herbal medicines). Elissa Lee is registered for private health rebates and on the spot claims at the clinic for most private health funds.

Your first session

Your first appointment will provide an opportunity to thoroughly examine your health concerns. In order to create a picture of your unique situation and spot any imbalances that require attention, we will discuss your current symptoms, previous health history, and other aspects such as diet and lifestyle.

A classic examination of the tongue, pulses and acupuncture channels will help to serve as a basis for a Chinese Medicine diagnosis.

Acupuncture, bodywork/massage, moxibustion, cupping, Chinese herbal medicine as well as diet and lifestyle recommendations will all be discussed during a consultation.

Your symptoms and unique constitution will determine which therapies are best for you.
